Devastating flash floods in central Texas have claimed the lives of at least 90 people, including 28 children, as of Monday. Rescue efforts are ongoing, with dozens still missing, including at least ten girls from a summer camp.


Among the victims are 75 bodies recovered from the weekend's deluge in Kerr County alone; a grim figure that includes twenty-four unidentified individuals. This number is further augmented by at least fifteen victims from surrounding areas, suggesting a tragically high overall toll, one that state authorities expect to climb even further.


The search continues relentlessly for ten missing girls and a counselor from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp situated along the Guadalupe River.
