USDT Now on FizenApp via TON Blockchain

15.06.2025 09:05

Tether's USDT stablecoin has launched on FizenApp, leveraging the TON blockchain for seamless transactions. This direct integration, announced on June 13th, 2025, eliminates the need for cumbersome cross-chain bridges, offering users a convenient and streamlined experience within the FizenApp interface. The Web3 community enthusiastically welcomed this development, particularly emphasizing its potential to facilitate everyday transactions independent of traditional banking systems. This is especially significant in regions experiencing high inflation, where USDT's stability offers much-needed financial security.

Expanding its stablecoin offerings beyond USDT, the TON blockchain also recently added XAUT0, a gold-backed stablecoin. This cross-chain token, representing one ounce of physically stored Swiss gold, provides users with an alternative hedging strategy while maintaining transaction flexibility. The integration of both USDT and XAUT0 onto the TON network underscores its commitment to offering diverse and accessible financial instruments.

Further demonstrating Tether's commitment to innovation and decentralization, the company recently open-sourced its Bitcoin Mining OS (MOS). This modular operating system empowers developers worldwide to create customized Bitcoin mining tools and deploy them across a variety of devices. This initiative aims to democratize Bitcoin mining, making it more accessible and fostering broader participation within the global developer community.

Finally, the continued growth of USDT is noteworthy. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino reported a record-breaking $155 billion circulating supply as of June 9th, 2025. This unprecedented figure reflects the increasing global demand for USDT, driven largely by the ongoing challenges posed by high inflation in many parts of the world. The surge in USDT usage highlights its vital role as a reliable and accessible store of value in volatile economic climates.
